Needless to say, employing JailHost does not substitute the safety measures you should always take by keeping your scripts up-to-date and using long and complex passwords, yet it will help you to limit any damage to one site only.
JailHost in Shared Website Hosting
You can take advantage of JailHost with every single shared website hosting plan that we offer and protect your websites against attacks fast and easy. Every single domain and subdomain in the Hepsia Control Panel that is provided with our plans has a separate folder and contrary to what often happens with other Control Panels, the site content is not mixed inside a single main folder, so keeping your sites separate is rather easy. Activating JailHost for any Internet site takes only a couple of clicks, so even when you do not have a lot of experience, you won't need any specific skills in order to maintain your Internet sites protected. The option is not active by default in case that you'd like to use a script that needs access to an additional folder in your account. In case you use JailHost, the rest of the websites that you have will be protected, but even a hacked one will not remain affected for long since we will have a couple of daily backups for it all of the time, so we could easily restore it.
JailHost in Semi-dedicated Servers
JailHost comes with all our semi-dedicated server plans and you will be able to activate it with a few clicks. What allows us to offer JailHost is the way Hepsia takes care of multiple domains - they all have individual folders that could be "locked". In comparison, other well known Control Panels have add-on domains and the content of the latter is kept in the main domain folder, so when a single Internet site is hacked, the whole account is hacked, that isn't the case with Hepsia. In case an Internet site is damaged regardless of your efforts, we'll be able to recover it the way it was in no time because we will store several daily backup copies of the entire account.
